Mark's Accomplishments:

1968 - 1973:

Played trumpet in High School band from 8th grade - 11th grade. Played lead trumpet in High School band 10th and 11th grade. Took piano in 10th grade. Took chorus in 10th and 11th grade.

1971:

Began writing Christian music at age 15. Self taught guitarist.

1973 - 1975:

Started/directed the 1st youth choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in
New Iberia, LA. Played guitar. Participated in the adult choir and also started/directed
the 1st children's choir.

1975:

Received an "excellent" rating from Christian music writing contest from NALR Catholic Publishing Company, now Oregon Catholic Press.

1975 - 1983:

Started/directed the 1st youth choir at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Iberia, LA.
Played guitar.

1984 - 1986:

Co-Director of choir/played guitar at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell, LA.

1985:

Wrote theme song for Catholic Youth conference in Lafayette, LA.

1986 - 1989:

Director of children's choir at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell, LA.

1987 - 1996:

Director of choir/played guitar at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Slidell, LA.
Lead the choir called SonLight in producing 3 Christian albums with several of the
songs written by myself. Lead music at youth retreats.

1991:

Released/Produced 1st SonLight's Choir album entitled "Embraced"

1992:

Released/Produced 2nd SonLight's Choir album entitled "Angels With Only One Wing"

1994:

Released/Produced 3rd SonLight's Choir album entitled "My Answer to You"

1997 - 2002:

Engineer/Producer at YHWH Sound Studio in Slidell, LA with close friend Chris Schneider.

August of 2002:

Released his first solo album entitled "Footprints in the Sand".
